We would like to share with you a different attraction whilst you are exploring the Medway Area. Why not participate in a leisurely Sailing trip along the River Medway?

From our base in Chatham Marina, discover the Medway and Environment as seen by Admiral Lord Nelson. View the Bird-life in its natural habitat as we sail towards the Estuary, only motoring for lock access or adverse wind conditions.

We want you to have an enjoyable time and believe this to be a relaxed introduction to those unfamiliar with sailing. Participation is encouraged but not required and will be fully supervised by a Royal Yachting Association qualified Skipper. We expect the trip to be about 4 to 5 hours dependant on the tides and wind, allowing for a light lunch in a secluded area.

Sérénité is a luxury 42 foot sailing yacht regulated by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency for this type of excursion. She is spacious and has ample seating both above and below deck for your comfort. A Guest Cabin and Toilet is available for your use.

On arrival you will be given a Safety Briefing and issued with a Life Jacket. At the same time and throughout the trip you will be offered a choice of Fruit Juice, Tea or Coffee.

Lunch:   Optional
Clothing:   As it is always colder on the water, please bring extra layers of clothing, plus a water/windproof jacket or coat. The deck seating can be covered by an awning. Please note that sailors consider wearing green unlucky and a hat may fly away!
Shoes:   Light soles on Trainers, Deck or Flat shoes - no heels.
Medical:   Please advise of any issues at time of booking.

The boat is MCA coded for up to 8 so there is no minimum but a maximum of 6 passengers.
Price per person: £80.00 plus VAT
Please telephone Mike on 07889 308275 (without obligation) for further details.
